Our first Hewitt Adams fundraiser

In just 5 weeks, our very own director Ben Adams will run the Abersoch Half Marathon. On 22nd September, Ben will be taking on the 21k course in the hopes of raising money for a fantastic cause: the Wirral Hospice St John’s. Whilst there is some funding from the NHS, this incredible hospice relies mostly on generous donations from the public, local businesses and charities. So, it’s massively important for people like Ben to get sponsored for these types of challenges! You can find out more information on the Wirral Hospice on their website by clicking here.

It’s going to be a challenge

To give you all a little bit of background, Ben completed the Chester half marathon back in 2017 for the hospice. He raised just over £500. And in June, he ran the Abersoch 10k. So, he’s certainly no stranger to enduring a tough run. But this time around, things are going to be a lot tougher! The Abersoch course is one of the hilliest and hardest marathons in the UK. We’re wishing Ben all the best and hoping he’ll be able to prepare in the 5 weeks he’s got.

Can you help?

What can you do to support him? Well, there’s a Just Giving link right here. Any donation, big or small, will make a massive difference to the Wirral Hospice. However, if donating online isn’t your thing, you can to call into the Hewitt Adams branch on Pensby Road. Alternatively, if you’re an existing Hewitt Adams seller, any amount you donate will be deducted from your selling fee on completion of your sale.
